Parent
?
Becoming an engaged parent with Educating Children of Color (ECOC) is a powerful step towards meaningful change. Start at home by fostering conversations about education with your child and attending our insightful workshops. These sessions are tailored to equip you with the tools to support your child's educational journey effectively.

Extend your impact by participating in our annual ECOC Summit, a hub for like-minded parents and professionals. Here, you can connect, learn, and contribute to strategies for educational equity. Take it further by attending Diversity University training, where you can deepen your understanding of inclusion and diversity, crucial for supporting your child's success.

Your involvement reaches beyond your family, making a lasting difference in our community. By volunteering and advocating for change, you're part of a movement that empowers children of color, creating a brighter, more equitable future.
Mentor
Why become a mentor? To foster student's leadership capabilities, confidence, and ability to pursue higher education and career opportunities.

What does a mentor do? Support and mentor up top 10 students from an array of schools in Colorado Springs.

Generally, our mentors are an intrinsically motivated bunch that want to give back to the community and help bolster their lives and increase the chances of success for young people. Through your involvement, and with our support, students will have the opportunity to grow in a safe setting. Additionally, you can earn up to $1,000 as a token of our appreciation for your dedication and hard work.
